Geothermal Energy                                                      Geothermal Energy is energy produced by heat from Earth's interior. An example of geothermal energy is a geyser (The hot water from it.) It heats rock formation deep within the ground. Groundwater absorbs this heat and forms hot springs geysers where the water reaches Earth's surface. Geothermal energy is used to produce energy as heat and electricity. Geothermal Energy can be used to warm and cool buildings.A closed loop system of pipes runs from underground into the heating system of a home or building. Water pumped through these pipes absorbs heat from the ground and is used to warm buildings.

Advantages:
1.) Available for long time because Earth's core will be hot for a long time. 2.) It is used t warm or cool buildings.

Disadvantages:1.)Pollution during production. 2.) The technology is also very expensive to make maintain.
