Nuclear Energy

       NUCLEAR            ENERGY

Nuclear energy works in two ways. From fusion and fission. Fusion is the combining of nucleus of atoms to create energy. Fission is the nuclei of radioactive atoms that are split into two or more fragments. Two advantages of nuclear energy is that it creates large amounts of energy to use and it doesn't cause and pollution because nothing is being burned. Two disadvantages of nuclear energy is that it produces dangerous waste that remains radioactive for thousands of years. The other disadvantage is that harmful radiation can be released in the process of making nuclear energy.
