Solar Energy

Solar Energy
How does it work?
Solar Energy is Energy received at Earth, by radiation from the sun. When the sun's rays hit solar panels, that can be placed on roofs or other places that are exposed to the sun, the panels generate the  solar energy into energy that can power buildings.

Advantages of this energy source...
A few advantages are that solar energy is a renewable energy source, which means it will never run out in our lifetime. Solar energy will stay renewable until the end of the world. It is constant, so we can have it as long as the suns rays are hitting the solar panels, and it can power homes.

Disadvantages of this energy source...
A few disadvantages are that solar panels are expensive, so they are hard to get and use. Also, If there is no light or sun, like at night time, you can't use Solar panels, because no rays are hitting the Solar Panels. You would need an alternative energy source, like geothermal energy, to have power all day, every day.
