Solar Energy

Solar energy comes from the sun as radiation received by the earth. It is used to warm buildings directly and can be converted into electricity by solar cells. Liquids warmed by the sun can be used to warm water and heat buildings. Some liquids have high holding capacity for absorbing and holding heat. Solar energy has many used such as heating houses, warming water, making electricity, and can be used for bathing. Some pollution is released from the manufacture and maintenance of the equipment. The solar heating system only works in places with lots of sunlight and the equipment is expensive.
